A public hearing on Tourism for all, a challenge to win! will take place on 9 February at the European Parliament in Brussels. Its aim is to address accessibility of destinations, accommodations and information within the new Tourism Strategy of the EU.

Welcomed by the MEP Carlo Fidanza and chaired by the MEPs Ádám Kósa, the first panel of the meeting will start a bit after 09.00 and it will elaborate on the ways to develop the accessibility of accommodation and information. Among others, the dialogue will involve representatives of the Commission, the Italian National Agency of Tourism (tbc) as well as the founder of the Handisport Foundation, a Mallorca-based non-profit foundation which uses sport to promote and facilitate the integration of residents and non-residents with disabilities into society.

Chaired by the MEP Rosa Estaràs Ferragut, the second panel of the meeting will be focused on the accessibility of destinations. There will be presentations and speeches by INSULEUR Chambers of Commerce network, ENAT - the European Network for Accessible Tourism, Village for All and others.

Following the concluding remarks from the MEPs Mathieu Grosch and Carlo Fidanza, the Public Hearing will end at 12.30 with a cocktail lunch.
