EuropaBio, the European Association for Bioindustries, invites such SMEs to apply for the 7th edition of its Most Innovative European Biotech SME Award, a unique annual initiative recognising biotech innovation and its contribution to society in Europe.

EuropaBio would like to award companies and runners-up in 3 categories:

• healthcare biotech,
• agricultural biotech,
• industrial biotech.

All biotech SMEs across Europe can submit their applications  before 27 June 2016 to gain European recognition during a special SME event in Brussels, win a EUR 10.000  cheque and a 2-year free EuropaBio membership.

The award ceremony will take place during a dedicated SME Day event in the European Biotech Week (26 September-2 October). Winners and runner-ups will join other biotech SME reps to engage with experts from the venture capital community, the European Medicines Agency, and the European Investment Bank on key topics for biotech SMEs including financing, IP and the Nagoya Protocol.
