The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of enhancing the road asset management practice under the Ethiopia road sector support project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultancy services for the design and monitoring of road asset management contracts.

The road asset management component of the project will be implemented as a pilot to introduce good practices and will target a road network totaling about 400Km that will be identified after undertaking network analysis and social assessment.&
