Afghanistan - consultancy notice for development of grape growing systems
A call for tender for the supply of consultancy services within the framework of a project to assist grape-growing farmers in Afghanistan is open until March 31, 2019.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) - the World Bank Group's institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries - is promoting a project to support grape-growing farming in Afghanistan.
The project will support the IFC client to assist in the development of 3,000 grape-growing farmers by improving their productivity, efficiency, and profitability through enhanced land management, grape cultivation, harvesting and drying practices.
The project will promote climate-smart and precision farming practices, thereby facilitating farmer access to export markets through the IFC client.
