EIC Horizon Prize: Innovative batteries for e-vehicles.

The objectives of the prize are: 

• To develop a new State of the Art battery solution for electric vehicles to enable enhancement of electromobility uptake in Europe
• Contribute to CO2 and other harmful emission reduction 
• Stimulate European battery and battery cell manufacturing value chain

Expected results: a novel battery system to power electric vehicles that is of reasonably low cost, fully recyclable, exhibits a, long life cycle and offers a user experience similar to that of a petrol/diesel powered vehicle in terms of performance
