The European Commission launches the EU Health Award for NGOs 2018.

The submission period has been reopened until 22 June 2018, 16.00 CET, Brussels time.

This year, the European Commission aims to reward NGOs that contribute to the fight against tobacco, especially by stopping young people from taking up smoking and/or using other forms of tobacco.

The Award will recognise and reward non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that contributed or are contributing to a higher level of public health in the European Union by working to prevent tobacco use.
